Arena 1v1 and Olympiad
1v1 fights with equalized power: gear doesn't matter, skills and play decide. Marks of Battle, Gladiator rank up to ±4% PvP, the Arena shop, Saturday tournament and Olympiad.
Contents
The Arena of Vela is the place where gear, enchant and donations decide nothing. For the duration of a fight, the main stats of both fighters are equalized by armor type, and the winner is whoever built their Multiprofa skills better and plays better. There's one format — 1v1. The reward is Marks of Battle: only the Arena, the Saturday tournament and the Olympiad give them, and they can't be bought.

How a fight goes
- You join the queue. Two heroes from the same computer are never matched against each other.
- Both are moved to a separate arena. 10 seconds to prepare, then "Fight!".
- The fight lasts 180 seconds, no resurrection. The survivor wins; if time runs out, the one with more HP left in percent wins.
- Rating uses the Elo system: you start at 1000, and a fight changes it by up to 32 points.
You can't join the queue while in combat, with karma, during an event, in an instance, in a siege zone, in a private store, transformed or mounted. The Arena has no karma, no XP loss and no item loss.
Power equalization
For the fight, your main stats are replaced with your role's values. The role is set by the armor you wear.
| Stat | Robe | Light | Heavy |
|---|---|---|---|
| HP | 22,000 | 26,000 | 32,000 |
| MP | 9,000 | 5,000 | 5,000 |
| CP | 12,000 | 13,000 | 15,000 |
| P. Atk. | 3,500 | 9,500 | 9,000 |
| M. Atk. | 11,000 | 4,000 | 4,000 |
| P. Def. | 4,000 | 5,000 | 6,500 |
| M. Def. | 5,500 | 4,500 | 5,000 |
| Atk. Spd. | 600 | 1,300 | 1,000 |
| Casting Spd. | 1,500 | 900 | 800 |
| Speed | 165 | 175 | 160 |
| Critical rate | 100 | 300 | 200 |
Everything else stays yours: skills and their enchant, mutations, crit damage, resistances, buffs to other stats. Runes and Gladiator rank are disabled on the Arena, while the class perk works: it's part of the class. These numbers are a starting point and will be tuned after the first fights.
Marks of Battle and Gladiator rank
An Arena fight gives 10 Marks of Battle for a win and 3 for a loss or draw, if the fight lasted at least 20 seconds after "Fight!". The cap is 100 Marks per day per hero. The main use of Marks is Gladiator rank: 10 levels, each giving +0.4% damage to players and −0.4% damage taken from them. There's also the Arena shop. Rank and shop prices — Marks of Battle and Gladiator Rank.
Echo rival
No live opponent? Challenge the Echo of a top Arena fighter: the same equalized stats, the Echo at 90% power, no rating. The first win of the day gives 3 Marks of Battle. Details — Echo Rival at the Arena.

Glory
- Arena Champion — a unique title for the hero with the highest rating (from 5 wins). See Unique Titles.
- Class rank: the top three in their class by Arena rating get a stronger class perk and the "#1 Duelist" title. See Class Bonuses and Ranks.
- Arena wins count toward the clan's weekly tasks (5 wins) and the Vela Pass, and you can bet on fights in the Casino.
Tips
- Your role comes from armor, not class. A mage in heavy armor gets tank stats — sometimes that's a strong move.
- Build for the Arena on the Polygon at the Rift Keeper: it has training dummies and a damage meter (
.dps). - Don't leave a fight in the first 20 seconds: nobody gets Marks.
- Gladiator rank is slow and valuable. If you don't like PvP, you lose nothing: it doesn't affect PvE.
FAQ
Do enchant or donations help on the Arena? No. Main stats are the same for everyone in the same role.
Can I buy Marks of Battle? No, only the Arena, the tournament and the Olympiad give them.
Why no 3v3 or 5v5? The owner decided so: the Arena and Olympiad are 1v1 only. Team fights are at PvP events.
