Getting Started

How to get into Vela: the launcher, your account, the first hour, the Vela menu and Alt+B, commands as a fallback, server currencies and FAQ.

VELA is a private Lineage II Essence server with Multiprofa and rebirths, made for friends. All you need to start is the launcher: it downloads the client for you, and your account is created the first time you log in. Your first 3 days come with free premium.

Almost everything Vela adds to Essence opens with buttons from a single window: the Vela menu (.menu, or the Herald of Vela next to the gatekeeper in any town). Start with First Steps and the first hour, minute by minute, then check the menu map so you know where everything lives. Saw an unfamiliar word in chat? See the Vela glossary. Chat commands are the fallback when a button isn't at hand.
