Currencies
Adena, L-Coin, Vela Coin, zone resources, upgrade stones, Raid Marks and Marks of Battle, Giran Seals, Rift Fragments and rune dust: where to get them, what to spend them on, what you can trade.
Contents
Every currency in Vela has one job. Zone resources trade freely, so the market stays alive and old zones never go empty. Personal currencies — upgrade stones, Raid Marks and Marks of Battle, Rift Fragments — can't be traded: progress at the high tiers can't be bought, only played.

Adena
The main currency and the main shortage: you never have enough. The biggest source is the Rifts of Vela, then monsters and trading. Big expenses:
| What | How much |
|---|---|
| Rebirth | 40 million for the first, +1 million for each next one, up to 150 million |
| Tempering | from 0.15 to 100 million per level |
| Forge | from 1.5 to 150 million per item |
| My teleports | 10,000 per jump |
| Return to the spot | 20,000 each time |
| Account warehouse | 30 per item deposited |
Premium gives ×1.5 adena from monsters. Premium does not apply to raid bosses.
L-Coin
An in-game trade currency, not a donation currency. It's hard to earn, and all sources together give no more than 30 L-Coin per day per account:
| Source | How much |
|---|---|
| Monster 60+ | 1–2 L-Coin; chance per kill 1% by hand in a manual zone, 0.4% by hand elsewhere, 0.15% on auto hunting; champions ×3 |
| Raid boss 40+ | 1 + 1 for every 20% of damage, up to 5 |
| Daily Boss | 3 + 1 for every 10% of damage, up to 8 |
| Tower of Trials | 1 for the first clear of a floor in a season, Hell Tower — 3 |
The monster must not be more than 8 levels below you; offline hunting and extra windows get no L-Coin. The main income above the cap is selling your loot on the World Exchange: sales don't count toward the cap. Details — L-Coin.
Vela Coin
The donation currency, 1 coin = 1 ₽. In client windows it's labeled "Jewel Coin" — it's the same item. Monsters never drop it; coins only enter the game through a payment, but they are tradable: you can buy them from other players for adena or L-Coin at the Auction of Vela, on the exchange or in a private store. Details — Vela Coin.
| What | Price, coins |
|---|---|
| Premium 7 / 30 days | 129 / 399 |
| Premium track of the Vela Pass for a season | 299 |
| Patron's Gift (one hour of +10% for everyone in the game) | 300 |
| Boosters, comfort features, cosmetic looks | from 15 to 3000 — Shop of Vela |
Zone resources
Every hunting zone has its own resource — from Animal Skin at the start to Blue Onyx and Magic Gem at 87+. This is the "zone currency": it's why people hunt in different places.
- Drops from roughly every tenth monster of its zone (1–2 pieces), less often from other monsters of the same level band.
- Champions give ×8, under a Shadow of the World — ×3.
- Doesn't drop if your hero is 10+ levels above the monster.
- Freely traded and sold — specialize in one zone and trade with others.

Upgrade stones
| Stone | Where from |
|---|---|
| Stone fragment | monsters 40+, raids, Rifts, the Tower, Arena shop (15 Marks of Battle) |
| Greater stone | monsters 70+, raids, the top of the Tower, Arena shop (120 Marks) |
| Transcendent | monsters 85+ |
All stones are personal. They go into Tempering and the Forge.
Raid Marks and Marks of Battle
Raid Mark — 1–3 from every raid boss 20+ and 2 from the Echo of the Week. Needed for skills of higher professions, mini-rebirth (1–5 each time), Forge T4+ and tier-two tattoos. Details — Raid Bosses.
Mark of Battle — PvP only: Arena 1v1 (win 10, loss or draw 3, up to 100 per day), the Saturday Tournament (300 / 200 / 120 / 40), the Olympiad (12 / 4). Spent on Gladiator rank (10 levels, 8,600 Marks in total) and in the Arena shop: a Raid Mark for 40, a stone fragment for 15, a greater stone for 120, a Rift Fragment for 8. Can't be sold or traded.
Giran Seals and Rift Fragments
Giran Seal — the reward of PvP events: TvT — 10 to the winning team, Deathmatch — 10 to the best player, Last Hero — 15 / 8 / 4. Used in special crafts and as a currency of the Auction of Vela.
Rift Fragment — the main currency of the Rifts and quests. Spent on skill mutations, relics, tier-three tattoos and Forge T5.
