Login and client#

Where do I register? Nowhere: just make up a login and password right on the client login screen — the account is created on your first login. Details — First Steps.

Which client do I need? Lineage II Essence, protocol 542. The launcher downloads it for you (about 45 GB). If you already have a 542 client, point the launcher to its folder — it will only download what's missing.

Windows says it protected my PC. The launcher doesn't have a paid code-signing certificate yet. Click More info → Run anyway.

The game won't start or crashes. In the launcher, click Проверить файлы (Check files) — it re-checks every file and re-downloads the damaged ones.

How do I switch the server windows to English? .menu›Справка (Help)›English or .lang en. To switch back — .lang ru.

Stuck#

Stuck in a wall, a pit or textures. Do two things:

1. Type /unstuck and don't move for 5 minutes — you'll be moved to the nearest town.
2. Click .menu›Comfort›Stuck (or .stuck plus a few words about what happened). The spot gets logged, and the developers will fix the geodata exactly there.

The world was recently rebuilt: no invisible walls at region borders, floors under awnings and open doors. Every .stuck report helps find the remaining bad spots.

Premium#

What does premium give? XP and SP ×1.5, drop amount and adena ×1.5, offline hunting, +5 personal teleport points and auto supply in the field (the supply bag from the Shop of Vela gives that too). It gives no power and no buffs, and doesn't raise the auto hunting skill limit. The bonus doesn't apply to raid bosses.

How much is it? 7 days — 129 Vela Coins, 30 days — 399 (1 coin = 1 ₽). You can also buy coins from other players for adena — Vela Coin. A new account gets 3 days free on first login.

Per character or per account? Per account: it works for all your characters.

Where do I see how much is left? .menu›Comfort›My premium (.premium).

Premium ran out during offline hunting. Your character is saved in place and leaves the world. On your next login you'll get a message explaining why the hunt stopped.

Alts and windows#

How many windows can I run? As many as you like, but only 2 windows per computer get full rewards — in the order they logged in. The third and later ones: XP and SP ×0.3, drops and adena −70%, no assist following the leader. Such a window gets a message on login. When an earlier window leaves, the next one gets full rewards again.

What about a buffer or a trader? Fine: they don't need monster rewards. Offline traders don't count as windows; offline hunters do.

Can I pass an item to my alt? Yes: the account warehouse in any town is a shelf shared by all characters on the account (tradable items only).

Does my second character have to redo the newbie quests? No. Once one character on the account finishes the newbie chain, the next ones are offered to skip it and get all rewards at once (.tutorial).

Buffs and hunting#

Where's the free buffer? There is no buffer NPC. Until your first rebirth — the Buff Helper (.menu›Buff helper or Alt+B). After that — your own buffs: learn them in the Skill Library and cast them with a self-buff scheme.

Why only 6 skills on auto? The attack skill limit: 6, +1 for every 10 rebirths, up to 10. Buffs and potions are unlimited. The order follows their place on the hotbar. Details — Auto Hunting.

My client crashed mid-hunt. Log back in within 10 minutes — auto hunting will continue on its own.

Will auto hunting attack a player? Never. PvP is manual only. If someone attacks you while you haven't pressed anything for 3 minutes, auto hunting fights back only against the first attacker, and only if hitting them costs you no karma: they are flagged, have karma, or your clans are at war.

I don't want more XP on this character. .expoff stops XP gain, .expon turns it back on.

How do I set up auto potions? .menu›Comfort›Auto potions: on — HP, MP and CP potions are used automatically below 70%.

Menu and buttons#

Alt+B doesn't open or is empty. Everything from the board is in the Vela menu: shop, Buff helper, teleport and Forge are in the main window. The board itself opens via .menu›Alt+B board (.cb). Details — The Vela Menu and Alt+B.

Where's the Herald of Vela? Next to the Gatekeeper in every town. His window is the same as .menu.

I know the command, but where's the button? The "command → button" table — Player Commands.

Money and donations#

Can I buy gear with real money? No. Vela Coins only buy speed-ups, comfort and cosmetic looks. Gear, enchants, stones, Raid Marks, rebirths and skills — only through play. Details — Currencies.

How do I earn L-Coin? L-Coin is an in-game currency: a rare drop from monsters 60+, raid bosses, the Daily Boss and Tower floors, up to 30 per day per account. Beyond that — sell your loot on the World Exchange. Details — L-Coin.

Voice and phone#

How do I talk to friends in game? Proximity voice and the party and clan radio are in the launcher's Голос (Voice) tab, linked with a code from .voice. Details — Proximity Voice.

Can I control my character from my phone? The hero remote and the Telegram bot are ready; the admin turns them on on the server (if the window says "off", they aren't on yet) — Hero Remote.
