Tower of Trials
100 solo floors, manual play only, each floor with its own mechanic. Monthly season, 3 free attempts a day, per-floor speedruns and the Hell Tower after the top.
The Tower of Trials is a hundred floors that you climb with a single hero. It is modeled on Trial of Ascension from Summoners War: every floor has a mechanic, and you can't clear it just by hitting things. Sometimes you have to kill enemies in the right order, sometimes get out of the fire, and sometimes put on a set for the floor's element. A season lasts one calendar month, and on the 1st everyone starts again from the bottom.
Rules
- Solo only. Even if you're in a party, you enter the Tower alone.
- Manual only. Auto hunting switches off by itself inside the Tower.
- One season = one month. On the 1st everyone's progress resets and floor mechanics are reshuffled. During the month a floor's mechanic is the same for everyone, so you can discuss floors and compare times.
- Floors 1–10 are the same every month. They are the tutorial: 1 — Healer, 2 — Fire sprouts, 3 — Seals of order, 4 — Rising rage, 5 — a guardian with a Mirror shield, 6 — Splitting, 7 — Fog, 8 — Sprout of the Tree, 9 — Quicksand, 10 — Echo and Totem.
- Hints are partial. The Warden and the Gate name the mechanic and give a short hint. The rest you learn in combat from on-screen messages. The floor's element is known in advance so you can gear up for it. You can ask the Warden for a second hint with the Ask button (Talking to NPCs).
- Between floors stands the Tower Gate: "Higher" (HP, MP and CP are restored) or "Leave the Tower". A failure (death or time running out) puts you outside, and your next entry starts from the same floor.
Attempts and entry
| Normal Tower | Hell Tower | |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 3 attempts a day per account (both Towers and timed runs combined) | |
| After that, per attempt | 30,000 + 3,000 × floor number | 100,000 + 8,000 × floor number |
| Example | floor 1 — 33,000, floor 100 — 330,000 | floor 1 — 108,000, floor 100 — 900,000 |
A paid attempt is needed both when you enter at the Warden and when you press "Higher" at the Gate. The price is high on purpose, so you think about the floor first.
How a floor works
- Monsters are taken from your level band, and their strength grows with the floor number.
- Danger is relative. A floor monster can't hit for less than a certain share of your HP: 1% on floor 1, 4% on floor 100, and three times that for guardians and Echoes. Even a tank in top runes will die if they stand in the fire.
- Time: 180 seconds plus the mechanic's extra time (20 to 40 s). Hell adds another +60 seconds.
- Normal floor: 6–11 monsters and one mechanic.
- Every 5th floor: a guardian boss with two companions and a guardian mechanic.
- Every 10th floor: the Echo of one of the server's strong heroes (70–100% of their power) with a guardian mechanic. On floors 30, 60 and 90 you face your own reflection.
- Monthly modifiers: one from floor 11, two from floor 50: Ash Storm (enemies are faster), Endurance (tougher), Fury (hit harder), Blood Ink (crit more often).

Floor mechanics
There are four kinds of mechanics: a layout (who is on the floor and how they behave), a rule on top of the layout, a guardian mechanic on the 5th and 10th floors, and the Mirror — a fight against your own Echo. There are 25 mechanics in total: 8 layouts, 11 rules, 5 guardian mechanics and the Mirror.
Before a floor, the Warden and the Gate name the mechanic and give a short hint. There is no ready-made solution: that's the main part of the Tower. All mechanics with hints are in Tower Floor Mechanics.
Rewards
A floor reward is given only for the first clear of that floor this month.
| What | Normal Tower | Hell Tower |
|---|---|---|
| Every floor | 20,000 × floor adena, Rift Fragments 2 + floor/10 | 30,000 × floor adena, Rift Fragments 5 + floor/5, rune dust 10 + floor/4 |
| Every 5th | stone fragments (floor/5 × 2), a Raid Mark | stone fragments (floor/5 × 3), 2 Raid Marks, radiant rune seals of your star |
| Every 10th | a greater stone (floor/20, at least 1), +10 Rift Fragments | an ancient rune seal, greater stones 1 + floor/25 |
| Top (floor 100 for the first time this season) | 5 greater stones, 100 Rift Fragments | 15 greater stones, 300 Rift Fragments |
| Total for 100 floors | ≈101M adena, ≈760 Fragments, 26 greater stones, 20 Raid Marks | ≈150M adena, ≈1470 Fragments, 2225 dust, 32 radiant and 10 ancient seals, 28 greater stones, 40 Marks |
Season top (whoever climbed highest; on a tie, whoever got there first). At the start of the new month, the top three collect a prize from the Warden:
| Place | Normal Tower | Hell Tower |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5 greater stones, 300 Rift Fragments | 3 ancient seals, 10 greater stones, the Lord of Hell name (crimson) for the whole month |
| 2 | 3 greater stones, 200 Fragments | 2 ancient seals, 6 greater stones |
| 3 | 2 greater stones, 100 Fragments | 1 ancient seal, 4 greater stones |
Every floor also advances the Path of Knowledge: +1 point (floor 10 gives +10), in Hell +2 (floor 10 gives +15). See Paths of the World.
Speedrun
Each floor's time is measured to 0.1 s. Every one of the 100 floors (and every Hell floor) has its own monthly top 10 with builds, and a cleared floor can be replayed as a timed run. Floor leaders get a small bonus and the "Tower Record Holder" title at the end of the month, and whoever leads on the most floors gets the unique title "Tower Speedster". Details — Tower Speedrun.
Hell Tower
Once you reach the top of the normal Tower this month, Hell opens: another 100 floors, stronger enemies, two or three modifiers, two mechanics per floor from floor 30, and Echoes of the strongest heroes on every 5th floor. The rewards are rune dust and rune seals, and the month's best wears the crimson Lord of Hell name. Details — Hell Tower.
Tips
- Keep different types of skills in your Multiprofa: physical and magic damage, control, an escape, healing. The Tower tests how broad your build is, not just your damage.
- Rebirths after the 110th require a Tower floor cleared this month: floor 20 at the second tier, then 10 floors higher for each tier (see Rebirth).
- Free attempts are shared across the whole account: your alt spends the same three.
FAQ
Can I clear the Tower with a party? No, solo only: the Tower tests your build, not your party.
I failed a floor. Do I lose the rewards for the floors I cleared? No. Those rewards are yours, and your next entry starts from the same floor.
Why is a floor different this month from last month? Mechanics from floor 11 up are reshuffled every month. Only the first ten floors stay the same.
