Multiprofa
Any Vela hero can learn skills of other classes of every race. How 1★–4★ stars, prices and limits work, and how Vela's Multiprofa differs from other servers.
Contents
Multiprofa is the heart of Vela. Your hero stays their own class, but can learn skills of any other class of any race: Prophet buffs, Warlord strikes, Bishop heals, Overlord chants. All learned skills work at the same time, and your hero's power adds up from what you picked.
The core idea: the basics — a full set of buffs and your main attacks — come quickly, in about a week of play. After that the choices begin: skills of the higher professions (3★ and 4★) cost Raid Marks and rebirths, so you have to think about what to learn first.
Your own and foreign skills
| Your class skills | Foreign skills | |
|---|---|---|
| How you learn them | automatically, for free, as you level | in the Skill Library for SP and adena |
| What works | always, all of them | all, but among similar foreign skills in one group only one works |
| Stars and Marks | not needed | 3★ and 4★ require Raid Marks and rebirths |
| Can be forgotten | no | yes, with half the SP returned |
| After a rebirth | stay at full power | stay at full power |
Since your own skills are free, your starting class matters: it gives the core of your build, and foreign skills complement it. Your hero's role (mage or fighter) is set by armor: a robe boosts magic, light and heavy armor boost physical attack. Details in Multiprofa Skill Balance.
Skill stars
Every foreign skill has a star. It depends on which profession its home class gets the skill at.
| Star | Whose skills | Your profession needed | Raid Marks per purchase | Rebirths | Skills in the catalog |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1★ | starting classes | any | 0 | 0 | 97 |
| 2★ | 1st profession | 1st | 0 | 0 | 243 |
| 3★ | 2nd profession | 2nd | 2 | 1 | 342 |
| 4★ | 3rd profession | 3rd | 5 | 5 | 579 |
- Your hero's profession limits the tier: on the 1st profession you can learn 1★–2★ skills, on the 2nd up to 3★, on the 3rd everything.
- Your level must be at least the level at which the home class learns the skill.
- Until you have enough rebirths, 3★ and 4★ skills are not shown in the learning window. How many skills are still locked for you is shown in the Skill enchanting window → "Skill stars".
- Raid Marks are taken for every purchase, including when you buy new levels of a skill after leveling up.
- Skills you've already learned never disappear, even if the star rules change.
How much a skill costs
One skill level costs roughly 4 minutes of SP farming at the level where the skill is learned. The higher the profession, the more expensive:
| Tier | Price multiplier |
|---|---|
| starting (1★) | ×0.5 |
| 1st profession (2★) | ×1 |
| 2nd profession (3★) | ×2 |
| 3rd profession (4★) | ×3 |
- Adena is charged together with SP, at half the amount: a skill for 1M SP also costs 500K adena.
- Buy straight to max. In the Library you immediately see the highest skill level available to you right now, and the price is the sum of all the levels you skip. Next levels appear after your character levels up.
- Pace guide: a couple of foreign skills by level 40, about 25 over your first climb to 85 (roughly 29M SP), the whole catalog over many rebirth cycles.
Limits and rules
- One skill, one entry. If several classes have the same skill, you learn it once.
- Passive families. Paladin's "Heavy Armor Mastery" and the Warlord's identical one are one family: the new one replaces the old, and the learning window says so directly: "Replaces: …".
- Buff families. Almost every race has its own copy of Haste, Might, Shield and other basic buffs. They don't stack, so the Library shows one best option per family (17 families, 105 skills). An orc party chant ranks higher than a self-buff.
- Stacking groups. Similar foreign effects don't add up: among foreign passives of one group (for example, "damage to monsters") the strongest works; among foreign stances of one group, the last one applied works. Your own class skills always work. Check it in .menu›Hero growth›Skill stacking. Details in Multiprofa Skill Balance.
- Weapons and armor. Skills that require a weapon only work with it: bow mastery only with a bow.
- Summons. You can learn several, but only one servitor is active.
- Death Knight skills. When you learn any of them, you get the "Death Points" passive for free; without it these skills don't work.
- You can't learn skills while transformed, while casting, or while mounted.
Forgetting a skill
Any foreign skill you've learned can be forgotten: you get back 50% of the SP of its current level. Adena and Raid Marks are not refunded. Your own class skills can't be forgotten. A mutation on a forgotten skill is removed, but its skill enchant level is kept — learn the skill again and the enchant comes back.

What makes Vela's Multiprofa different
- A searchable window instead of a thousand lines. Foreign skills are learned in the Library: search by name, role, stars and class, a "Learn" button, and a clear reason when you can't learn something.
- No broken combos. You can't stack "every damage passive from every class": similar foreign effects don't add up, and the worst outliers and data bugs have been fixed.
- Same stats for everyone. Base stats are the same for all classes and armor sets the role, so foreign skills work fairly.
- Skills don't weaken. After a rebirth all skills stay at full power.
- Growth without a ceiling. On top of learning there are Skill Enchanting and Skill Mutations — builds with the same skill set still play differently.
FAQ
Can I learn skills of every race? Yes, every race and every profession line, except utility skills, racial transformations and a few skills with a hard class check.
A foreign skill doesn't work — why? Check Skill stacking: another foreign skill in the same group may already be active. The other common reason is not having the right weapon.
Will my skills disappear after a rebirth? No. Your class and all skills, your own and foreign, stay, and skill levels don't drop.
Which language are skill names in? Vela windows in English show the English names; Vela windows in Russian show Russian names (official client ones or Vela's translation). The client's own skill window (Alt+K) and tooltips show the client names. The Library search understands both and also dictionary words such as «щит» (shield), «лечение» (heal) and «яд» (poison).
